Smoke signals and rhythmic chanting… only kidding, our internal intranet will have the tournaments listed and they will be displayed on the website as well. Talk to the red team or games team at the event for more information.

You may play any games you wish at RFLAN however as it is a social gaming event, we encourage everyone to join in on the competitions! If there is a game you and some friends really want to play that isn’t listed, why not have a chat to one of our friendly games team admins to see if they can organise a small competition along or a casual game for you and anyone else that is interested!

No! Not unless it is organised with both your opponent AND a games admin. This is to prevent the entire tournament being pushed back and the streaming schedule being disrupted.

Match communication is imperative to ensure you don’t hold up tournaments unnecessarily. If you have any issues, missing team members, can’t find the other player or team etc, please speak with the games admin. If you need to leave the event premises during a tournament, please inform the games admin of the requirement and they will note this and attempt to work around it with you. Failure to notify the games admin that you are leaving will likely result in a disqualification from the tournament.

RFLAN games admins will use many forms of mass communication and it is recommended that all players and teams are aware of these and utilising them at all times throughout the tournament. These include but not limited to:

  • RFLAN Official Discord
  • RFLAN Tournament System Chat
  • PA Announcements

Using the official channels to communicate will allow the games admins to better assist you in the case of a problem. Please ensure you are on the RFLAN Discord for communication between admins and players of other teams. The tournament system also has a built in chat feature to communicate with the team. In order to use this system:

 1. Visit www.redflag.gg and click on Tournaments. Find the tournament you are participating in and click More Info

2. Sign in to your Toornament account which you created during your registration process or previously when attending RFLAN

3. Click on the Platform Menu in the menu bar and click Participant Dashboard

4. From this screen you can see your tournament registrations by clicking My Tournaments in the menu.

5. Click on the tournament you are participating in. Then click on the match you are attempting to play

6. Click on the Match Lobby button.

7. You will be taken into the match lobby. Both team captains and RFLAN games admins can see this chat. Use it to organise your matches!

After signing into the Participant Dashboard and clicking on the tournament you are currently playing in, you can see in your overview the matches that you need to play now. More matches will show up when they are ready for you to play.

Clicking on the match will take you into the match overview where you can find Result Reporting and Match Lobby for chat between you and the other team players. Other important information may be on this screen under Information. An admin will put useful information in here such as server details or map details.

If you wish to report a match result, click the Report Result button. You will be taken to a screen where you can input the score, submit any screenshots if requested and any notes on the match. Be sure to select Win under the correct team and enter the score exactly as displayed in game. When done click the Report button at the bottom.

If your result is accepted you will see a similar confirmation screen below. This confirms your result has been accepted by the tournament system. If you have any errors or issues, please raise this with your games admin.

Going back to My Tournaments overview you will see that your match scores are displayed and you will see your next match available. Rinse and repeat!

If your next match says Waiting, this means that another match hasn’t completed yet and your opponent hasn’t been determined. Keep an eye on this for updates!
