Hey Guys,
So we have pretty much locked everything in for Starcraft 2 so heres all the rules and information for this event.
Tournament Software
Last event we had a major meltdown in ALP (the software we use on the intranet) so we are moving to a new platform for SC2 this event.
We will be using MLG's Starcraft2 Arena software to run and manage the SC2 tournament. As a result of this all Starcraft 2 players are required to have an MLGid account to compete. You can create one at http://www.majorleaguegaming.com A link will be provided at the event to sign you into the tornament, but to streamline things please make sure you create a MLG account before the event if you do not have one. Additionally MLG Starcraft 2 Arena has battle net integration, so when you sign into the tournament you will need to provide the URL to your characters profile. I suggest you make yourselves familiar with how to get here. Instructions will be provided through the Arena software. Basically sign into battle.net, go to the Starcraft 2 link (here http://sea.battle.net/sc2/en/ ) and click your characters avatar in the top right hand corner.
Rules
There are some slight changes to how things will be run, so pay attention.
Signups for the Tournament will open at 8am on Saturday, and gameplay will commence at 11am SHARP.
NO EXCEPTIONS / DELAYS. If you are not signed up by then you can not play.

You must be at the event (Curtin Stadium) to compete.

You must play on the map assigned to you or your score will not count.
The First map of the finals will be chosen by the MLG Starcraft 2 Arena software, subsequent maps will be chosen by the loser of the previous map
All Finals will be played on stage on the computers provided. You can supply your own Keyboard, Mouse and Headphones if you wish.
If the stage is available and you wish to play your match on the stage outside of this please see an admin.
The top seeded player will Host the match, the bottom seeded player will upload the game replay to the MLG Starcraft 2 Arena Software.
The bottom seeded player must upload the game replay at the end of the match for scores to be counted.
Replays will be validated by the system to ensure the correct players were in the match, and that the correct map was played. If the incorrect players played or the incorrect map was played the score will not be entered.
The system will tell you which player is to do which task if you are in doubt.
The MLG SC2 Arena will tell you if you have a match, if you are more than 15 minutes late to a match you will be forfeited. Admins will give you a 5 minute and 1 minute warning over the PA, and if you are not in Game by this point we will forfeit you.
The MLG SC2 Arena will tell you your oponents Character name and Character code to make finding you opponent easy.
Please feel free to use the ingame chat "RFLAN" to help find players etc. The RFLAN IRC will also have a channel #SC2 to help with this.
